Volunteer Opportunities
Are you interested in volunteering at The Children's Museum?  We are always looking for volunteers to serve as gallery guides, birthday hosts, greeters, retail store assistants and special event helpers. We have many different shifts to suit your availability.  Museum volunteers must be 18 years of age and be willing to make a time commitment of six (6) hours per month in order to participate. All volunteers will be subject to a background and reference check and will receive training related to their volunteer assignment.

YES! Middle School Volunteer Opportunities

Be a part of the Michelin YES! (Youth Empowered through Service) Program! Our middle school leadership and service initiative is now taking applications for our one-year volunteer program where students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops which develop self-esteem, instill a team-focused mentality, celebrate personal and cultural uniqueness, and embrace relationships with peers and mentors.  Through this program, students can participate as 'Play Facilitators', writer/reporters for a museum newsletter, producers/actors in a performance troupe, and members of the Museum's Youth Advisory Council. Orientation for this program begins in November.  To get more information about the program, click here.
